Specialities
The theoretical frameworks that underlie my interventions are primarily based on Jean Ayres’ Sensory Integration, DIR Floortime, and systemic family therapy. I have received accredited training in these three areas and often combine them, prioritizing them more or less depending on the present objectives.
Sensory integration according to Jean Ayres enables understanding of sensory processing for use in meaningful activities. DIR Floortime is a development-based model that focuses on each individual’s profile and significant relationships, accompanying children. Systemic family therapy views the individual as part of a system (especially as part of their family) and reads needs from a prism that includes all family members.
