My Workstyle
There is no better reflection of my style than the complexity that unfolds in the 4 axes.
I enjoy personalising each intervention to flexibly adapt it to the needs and evolution of each individual and family, offering unique care that adjusts to their changes and priorities along the way.
"If I had to use a single word to describe Simone's work, it would be 'COMPREHENSIVE'; because that's how she perceives the needs, challenges, environment, and everything surrounding the person she works with and their family.
She takes occupational therapy a step further. Her knowledge, training, experience, and empathy help you and provide you with tools to make the challenges of daily life less complicated. In our case, with our son, she has helped us see his abilities in a different light, to understand him, to make sense of many situations that, especially at the beginning, you don't understand and don't know how to handle. Understanding the importance of Sensory Integration.
When he is young, through play and connection; and as he grows older, through Self-Determination, seeing him as an individual and empowering him to choose and decide, as much as possible, about his preferences and his own place in his environment.
In short, it's a privilege to walk hand in hand with Simone on this journey."

"For our family, this therapy has been and continues to be an essential tool in our lives. We met Simone 7 years ago, and over this time, our lives have been changing, along with our needs.
Simone has been able to adapt at every moment and find ways to intervene through the natural environment. In the case of our son, his biggest challenge is communication, which sometimes feels forced in a room, but not while swimming in the sea, cooking, or taking a walk with friends because if we shift the focus from the diagnosis, we realize that it could happen to anyone. There are TV programs that interview their guests while walking, cooking, or even doing extreme sports.
As parents and his sister, we have also participated in the therapies, and not only have we learned, but we have also enjoyed as a family. For example, I remember that during the lockdown, we recorded videos of us playing, which we sent to Simone and then discussed; it was a great help. Such a flexible format adapts to circumstances. Today, our daughter attends the group with her brother weekly, and a very special bond has been created, not only between the siblings but also with the other group members. She chooses this group over any other plan because for her, it's her Friday plan with friends, not therapy. She has greatly benefited from Simone's work as in these circumstances; it's difficult to find your place as a sister.
Simone has also supported us in the educational field, both when our son was in school and now in high school. Through meetings, we discuss the needs, and she advises us. When necessary, she has also visited the schools to meet with the teachers and even provide training. We are very grateful for the help Simone has provided us over all these years.
We have learned a lot and will continue to learn."
